City tour - Kutaisi was the capital of the fabled Kingdom of Colchis. The myth of the Golden Fleece originates here as the waters of the Rioni were once panned for gold using sheep skin. City tour include: Meskhishvili theatre, Colchis fountain, Kutaisi Park , Opera Theater , Monuments of the Soviet Union , Royal Quarter , White bridge , "Oqros Chardakhi" , Old town , Kutaisi State Historical Museum.

Bagrati Cathedral - The cathedral was built in 1003 by Bagrat lll, with a tall drum and pointed dome resting on four free -standing pillars. In 1692 a Turkish explosion brought down drum, dome and ceiling to leave a cathedral in a ruined state. It was fully renovated between 2009 and 2012 , with a mix of old and new stone and a few steel sections.
Gelati Monastery - Gelati was a cultural hub of Georgia's medieval "golden age" , and many Georgian rulers were buried here , including the great 12th-century king, David the Builder. The interior of the main Cathedral of the Virgin is among the brightest and most colourful in Georgia, with fascinating frescoes.
Sataplia Nature Reserve - The star features of the 3.3-sq-km reserve, 9km northwest of Kutaisi, are a couple of dozen 120-million-year-old, fossilised dinosaur footprints, and an attractively lit 300m-long cave with a small underground river. The reserve is covered in thick, subtropical Colchic
