August 20-21: Vardzia, Abastumani observatory, Zarzma, Paravani Lake

Wanderlust Georgia offer 2 day entertainment and educational Tour to Samtskhe-javakheti region on August 20-21. During the tour we visit Vardzia, khertvisi fortress, Abastmani Astrophysical Obsertvatory, paravani lake, monasteries: Tchule, Zarzma and Sapara.

Tour price 85 GEL.

Tour Price include:

➡Entrance Ticket to Vardzia complex. (There are different rates for visitors)

Please note, that observation the sky with telescope is possible only in clear weather. So we can't guarantee, that observation will be possible!

1st day
Meeting point is beside Tbilisi Sport Palace, (at the Rustavi minibus last stop and SPAR). collection starts at 07:30
08:00 leaving Tbilisi;
From Tbilisi we'll drive towards tslka-Ninotsminda;
First stop takes place at Paravani lake;
Then Khertvisi fortress and Vardzia complex ;
In the afternoon we'll arrive to Akhaltsikhe and staying at guest house;
Free time till 11:00 P.M.
At 11:00 P.M we are going to Abastumani observatory. Midnight excursion is held between 12:00 AM and 3:00 AM. In the case of clear weather see the sky with a telescope.
Returning to guest house.
2nd day
At 11 AM we are going towards Tchule and Zarzma monasteries. On the way back we visit Sapara monastery. After we have dinner and depart towards Tbilisi.
If we have time, we'll stop at Borjomi park.
