Tour Description:

Time: 7 days and 6 nights

Total distance by car:  1040km

Total distance by foot: 51 - 55 km

 Day 1:  Tbilisi – Arrival / City Tour .

After your arrival, you will be taken from your hotel, and receive a Welcome Toast. Following a restful sleep, your journey in Georgia starts with the capital city of Tbilisi. You will see ancient Metekhi and hear the tale of legendary King Vakhtang VI and the founding of the city. You will see the city from on high as you take the cable car to the ancient fortress of Narikala. You will descend into Old Town, experience the sulfur baths, and explore the recently-excavated Leghvta Khevi. As you cross over the Peace Bridge, you will venture from ancient Georgia into modern times in Rike Park. In the evening, you will enjoy a thoroughly traditional Georgian meal in Old Town.

Day 2:Tbilisi – Mestia

In the morning you will go to visit Mestia. You will visit Mestia museum and taste some sour waters. After some rest you will visit Mikheil Khergiani House museum (he is known as Tiger of Rocks). Then you will take cable cars and visit Hatsvali. Where you can have some coffee time and enjoy the views from there. In the evening you will stay in guesthouse.

Day 3:Mestia – Chvabiani – Hadishi

In the morning you will be taken by cars and visit village Chvabiani. Here you will start your hike and visit village Hadishi, you will walk about 10 km. this way is toward Ushguli. In the evening you will stop at guesthouse.

Day 4:Hadishi – Chkhunderi Pass – Khalde

In the morning you will continue hike from Hadishi. You will walk about 8.5 km. on the Chkhunderi Pass (2712 m). You will see the panoramic views from the pass. After some rest and lunch you will walk to the village Khalde (12km). You will have campsite there.

Day 5:Khalde – Ushguli – Lamaria Monastery

From Khalde you will start walking toward Ushguli community about 10km. you will have quick stop to Lamaria Monastery. You will have Shkhara background there (the tallest peak of Georgia, it means 9 peaks). Your campsite will be in Ushguli. After some rest in the camp, you will walk in Ushguli and visit the bottom of Shkhara (12km).

 Day 6:Ushguli –Kutaisi – Tbilisi

Early morning you will be taken by cars and go back to Tbilisi. You will have some stop points on the way and taste Georgian foods in the Lunch and dinner.

Day 7:Tbilisi- Departure

After checking out of your hotel by noon, you will be free to explore Tbilisi at your leisure. After a final farewell, you will then be taken to the Tbilisi International Airport for your departure.
