Tour Program:

I Day – Departure from Tbilisi at 9am. After about 5 hours travel we will visit Jikheti Monastery (XIX century), after Jikheti we will visit Jumati Monastery (the foundation date of the monument is unknown), from where the beautiful view of Colchis lowland can be seen.  After visiting Jumati Monastery, we will have lunch and direct to Ozurgeti City, where the accommodation awaits us at a local hotel.

II Day – After breakfast, we will visit local lore museum and then travel to the resort Bakhmaro, where we will put up the tents in camps and have lunch (If someone wishes to see the beautiful sunset, it is possible from one of the mountains). At the end of the day we will rest at the fire.

III Day – At a very early morning, we will invade “The Rising Sun Hill”, from where the sun rise is a beautiful vision. On our way to the capital city, we will visit Bukistsikhe, the same as “Tamar’s Fortress” (VI – VII centuries), Desert Monastery (VI century), will have lunch and return to the capital.
